Research in Practice For Adults promotes the use of evidence-informed practice in adult health and social care. It works with a network of partners around the country supporting them to use evidence from research and other sources to improve outcomes for service users and carers.

Adult social care is going through a massive change, moving from care management to self-directed support. RIPFA chose Snook to facilitate pilot workshops for the “change cards” that they developed based on ten ways that practitioners have told us they feel about the change.

As a result of these pilots, the cards and website are designed to help people understand why they feel the way they do, get some ideas for how they can make progress in the journey towards self-directed support, and contribute their own experiences and examples to share more widely.
