Cat Cochrane who heads up a side project of ours, Dearest Scotland picked up a national UK award last night for her contribution to the project.  The National Council for the training of journalists recognised the project for it’s unique use of multimedia (from pen and paper to digital archive and twitter and back) and engagement with citizens to write to the future of Scotland.  In particular, Cat’s style of writing across multiple platforms maintained a consistent brand on all touchpoints of the campaign so far.

It’s great for a member of our team to be recognised by the NCTJ in particular for this project as many are grappling with new forms of social media and the speed of people both publishing and consuming information.

There’s not long left to write your letter to the future of Scotland, we close the open application for the first book on January 1st, so get writing!
