Introducing Alan

We’re delighted to introduce you to a new Snook who joined us recently: Alan Ainsley.

Alan joins as Partner and will work alongside founding director Sarah Drummond, to focus on the growth of Snook.

‘I see this as an exciting opportunity to help Snook build upon its well-deserved reputation. Whenever I spoke to anyone about Snook, the response was amazing. It’s something that can’t be bought.’

‘It’s an honour to join Snook at such an interesting period in its history and I’m delighted to be working with such a talented group of individuals’

‘I’ve already been fortunate to see, first-hand, the impact of Snook’s work on both businesses and society. Our aim, as we move forward, is to ensure that Snook continues to receive the recognition it deserves and continues to deliver on its undoubted ability and potential’.

Prior to working at Snook, Alan worked as Creative Director at The Leith Agency and before that held a board position at the global brand design consultancy, Elmwood.

Alan has over 25 years of experience in design, branding and strategy, having worked with clients including The FA, Tottenham Hotspur, Hyatt Hotels, Royal Mail, SSE, London 2012, Macmillan Cancer Support and The Scottish Government. Alan also holds trustee and consultancy roles with several third sector organisations.

The quality of Alan’s work has been recognised with a range of leading industry accolades that include: D&AD, New York Festival, Clio, DBA Design Effectiveness Awards through to Marketing Society Excellence Awards.

Alan is also a regular public speaker, not just about design but also on his passion for social good. From challenging negative attitudes towards mental health, to the importance of embedding the voices of experience in designing better cancer patient pathways. Alan is also a fellow of the RSA.

Sarah said, ‘Alan will bring a passion for design and strategic wisdom to guide Snook through this exciting new chapter.’
