Read moreCameron’s passion for human-centred design began when working in prisons with InHouse Records, an award-winning initiative that aims to reduce reoffending and violence in prisons through person-centred support for participants. Cameron delivered a program that offered a creative, collaborative and user-led approach, nurturing participant’s leadership skills and supporting them in navigating the complexities of life in and out of custody.
This brought Cameron to the 2021/22 Year Here Social Innovation Fellowship where he led a user-research project for the NHS which aimed to improve healthcare outcomes for ex-armed forces in London. Whilst supporting the running of a homeless shelter during a 5 month placement, Cameron also explored ethnographic and participatory approaches to understanding and refining service improvements.
Outside of work, you’ll find Cameron behind his drum kit or somewhere on the Golborne Road munching Portuguese pastries.
