Raquel is a Social Anthropologist from Costa Rica, working in the Glasgow Studio as a Senior User Researcher, with expertise in Research Ops.

Raquel’s sharp sensitivity to social injustice and keen sense of curiosity have led her to conduct research in different environments and topics.
She’s done work focusing on the adult education needs of immigrants and refugees in Scotland and Malta, identifying the needs of local fishermen and farmers in Costa Rica, developing financial literacy projects. She’s also worked in Corporate Social Responsibility with both private and public institutions, identifying and addressing social and environmental issues.
In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, meeting people from different backgrounds and learning new recipes.
