Anu came to Snook right after finishing their Masters in Equality and Human Rights at the University of Glasgow. Here, they explored the relationship between queer people of colour and the police in Scotland, building upon their undergraduate research focus on homophobic hate crime and their research into Islamophobia at the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Prior to Snook, they also interned at the Equality and Human Rights Commission and worked in operations management within the private sector.

Aside from work, Anu enjoys staying active, seeing live music, visiting new places with their husband, and enjoying a strong cup of coffee.
